Jane Pilkington

As Managing Director of Ireland, Jane Pilkington heads Newland Chase’s Dublin-based business where she leads a team that is responsible for providing strategic immigration advisory services to multinational and national companies. Jane is one of the world’s foremost immigration lawyers and advisors who been advising clients – ranging from the world’s largest multinational corporations to SMEs and start-ups – on all aspects of Irish business and private client immigration for more than 20 years. Jane is an in-demand speaker at international conferences and events – including the IBA Immigration Conference and the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) GMS Conference. The international peer-rated directory Who’s Who Corporate Immigration describes Jane as “a pre-eminent Irish immigration lawyer who primarily assists companies with the admission of non-EEA nationals to the country” and in the 2020 Edition was described as “the highest-rated Irish lawyer in our research this year” and “she earns praise as a “go-to in Ireland” who is “very responsive and knowledgeable and provides an excellent service”. Prior to joining Newland Chase, Jane was a partner in one of Ireland’s leading law firms, where she specialized in corporate immigration and commercial litigation and led the firm’s business immigration practice. Jane is an Irish qualified solicitor and a graduate of the Law School of the Law Society of Ireland and the University College Dublin with a Bachelors in Political Science and Philosophy.
