Kelly Eland

Kelly is a VAT professional with over twenty years’ experience. She trained at KPMG on their graduate tax scheme and is a Chartered Tax Advisor in the UK and a member of the UK’s VAT Practitioner’s Group.

Kelly’s experience spans working within the Big 4, working in house within a FTSE 100 retailer and working as an independent consultant. Kelly currently heads up the VAT team at RPGCC which recently earned a place in the top 100 accountancy firms in the UK.

Kelly advises on all aspects of UK VAT but has particular expertise in land and property, education, welfare, healthcare and financial services. Kelly can also advise on supplies into the EU under the One Stop Shop and/or Import One Stop Shop. Kelly is also supported by a strong VAT compliance team who can deal with VAT registrations in the UK and EU together with ongoing compliance on behalf of businesses.

Kelly advises that “any change in business structure, supply chains or the nature of goods and services sold is likely to impact the VAT profile of the business with any mistakes potentially having a major impact on the bottom line. VAT, like other taxes, can be daunting, but my aim is to break it down into something that is clear and easy for businesses to deal with and manage efficiently.
